About the project
“Radomsko Mebluje”
is a partnership project, the implementation of which is guaranteed by an agreement concluded on 19 March 2014 between the Mayor of the City of Radomsko, the Senior Guild of Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs in Radomsko and the President of the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
This is an initiative bringing together furniture manufacturers of the Radomsko region – one of the most important furniture centres in Poland. The concentration of companies in the furniture industry, combined with the diversity of assortment and style, definitely distinguishes Radomsko’s offer from others.
History
The history of carpenter guilds in Poland dates back to the end of the 14th century, when the first carpenter guild was established in Cracow. Scarce sources on the history of Radomsko and carpentry in the town confirm that since the 17th century there was a large joint guild in Radomsko, associating several professions.
